Praia da Foca

Named after the seals that once frequented this cove, Praia da Foca is a tiny, scenic beach on the eastern side of the peninsula. Accessible via trail, this east-facing gem catches the morning sun beautifully and offers dramatic rocky outcrops perfect for photography. One of Buzios most photogenic beaches. It is a great place to go early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. Bring some lettuce and you may have a chance to feed the turtles — sunrise and sunset are their show time.
