Maria Maria Cafe is always a nice place to start the day with their ocean facing patio. They have a wonderful selection of coffee and tea drinks, juices together with breakfast packages, such as the "American Breakfast", A├ºaí, sandwiches and of special note is the "Eggs Benedict". If you still have room, they have a lot of sweet desert options including a big selection of cakes, pies, and gelato.

Quite a few restaurants in Buzios are owned and staffed with Argentinians and the Puro Sabor steakhouse is one of our favorites with consistent food quality and attentive service. Its out of the main downtown area but worth the walk or short taxi ride.

This downtown inexpensive restaurant offers low cost Brazilian dishes starting at R$19. It's three blocks away from the main busy Buzios downtown area in a much quieter street. Not as much people watching here but a great value with decent simple food.
