Beach Walks & Trails
Coastal Walks & Hiking Trails
The Búzios peninsula has several marked trails through Atlantic rainforest and coastal scrub, plus a classic Orla Bardot waterfront walk connecting the main beaches. The Trilha do Forte leads to the Ponta do Forno headland with 360° peninsula views. The Alto Geribá ridge trail is less-known and rewards the few who find it.
Why We Recommend This
The coastal path from our property to Praia dos Ossos is one of the nicest 10-minute walks in Búzios — stone-paved, oceanside, with the chapel silhouette at the end. We do it every morning.
Practical Tips
Start the Fort Trail from Praia da Tartaruga. Bring water — no facilities on the trails. Best April–August (dry season). Trails can be slippery after summer rains. Wear closed shoes for the headland trails.
